Project Manager-Federal Communications | ICF International | Washington, DC

ICF International seeks a Project Manager to support a federally-funded
cooperative agreement in the Middle East focusing on a health-related
partnership. The project is based in our Washington DC office and will
involve occasional travel.
The Project Manage (PM) is responsible for managing all day-to-day
aspects of the program and ensuring that program activities are
conducted in a timely and accurate manner and that the program is highly
effective and achieves required objectives. The PM will formulate and
execute appropriate procedures and management protocols in accordance
with standard practices for management of government programs; oversee
strategic internal and external communications; make complex logistical
arrangements and work to coordinate and deliver multiple project tasks,
often on short notice. Anticipated tasks may include: special events;
community education and outreach activities; and print and electronic
media, and outreach.
Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of experience managing federal projects
required. Experience on international programs highly desirable and
Arabic skills are a plus. The PM must possess a strong ability in
managing government-funded programs and contracts, exemplary written and
verbal communications skills, strong client relationship skills, be able
to coordinate diverse program elements, manage a variety of stakeholders
and their interests, have budget development and management experience,
subcontractor and vendor management, and problem solving ability. The
candidate should be experienced and comfortable working in a fast paced
environment and be able to manage multiple tasks under critical time
frames and across multiple time zones.
